Design

At Sunsquare we appreciate that our entire business and reputation is reliant on our ability to design effective products, because a good design makes a good product and a good product makes a good business.

All too often we witness companies entering the market with products that have been conceived purely as a money-making exercise, not once taking into account some of the key requirements that make the product work.

Have a look at the market and we are sure that you will find products that consist of only a double glazed unit stuck onto an upstand, non-thermally broken and worst of all flat…

The price might seem attractive, the guarantee may seem too good to be true, but please do consider the following before making your selection:

1. Is the product properly thermally broken?
2. Is the product CE marked for sale within the EU?
3. Is the product safe?
4. Is the warranty realistic and comprehensive?

Manufacture

Following our continual investment in our manufacturing facility, based in Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk, we are now able to offer some of the shortest lead times in the industry. Our standard range of products are all available in no more than 5 weeks, with the vast majority of products dispatched in as little as 3 weeks. For a made to measure product we are sure that this will impress.

Also, since the implementation of our CNC manufacturing centre for our upstands, we are able to manufacture and dispatch a custom upstand to site within a 5 working day period.

Repeatable quality is achieved by Sunsquare through excellent staff training, staff retention and manufacturing technologies. We have searched far and wide through multiple industries to ensure that our manufacturing methods and equipment are at the cutting edge.

Procurement

At Sunsquare we appreciate that our customers are rightfully cautious when it comes to selecting the products that they purchase for their particular build and we are no different.

Over the past 3 years we have studied our entire supply chain to look at who supplies us with materials, what quality assurances they are able offer and what alternatives we have.

By doing this we can assure you, our customer, that each and every supplier to Sunsquare has been visited by one of our Directors, inspecting the facilities where the materials we purchase are made and agreeing supplier charters. By doing this, we have the best possible assurances that the materials that go in to making your skylight are of the highest quality each and every time.

Environmental Policy

Sunsquare operates a strict environmental policy both within the product manufacture and office facilities.

All products are designed on the latest 3D software packages allowing us to evaluate a vast array of materials for each component while also limiting wastage.

During a recent evaluation of our processes we were able to conclude that 97%* of our waste was destined for recycling or reuse.
