The brief was to manufacture and install a pair of large contemporary skylights to maximise the amount of natural daylight and also to be an architectural roof feature to a new build house in Kingston upon Thames.

The Solution
Sunsquare designed and manufactured two large contemporary elongated pyramid skylights with minimal powder coated framing. We fabricated the skylights from our standard aluminium extruded profile, so the units were fully thermally broken and dual colour to slate grey externally and white internally.
These units measure 2000 x 4600mm (internal structural opening). Each unit is glazed with just four pieces of glass, therefore not unobtrusive glazing bars to interrupt the sight-lines or reduce the amount of daylight.
