At Sunsquare we appreciate that our entire business and reputation is reliant on our ability to design effective products; because a good design makes a good product and a good product makes a good business. All too often we witness companies entering the market with products that have been conceived purely as a money-making exercise; not once taking into account some of the key requirements that make the product work.

Take a look at the market and we’re sure you’ll find products that consist of only a double-glazed unit stuck onto an upstand that’s not thermally broken and worst of all, flat…
The price might seem attractive, the guarantee may seem too good to be true, but please do consider the following before making your selection:

• Is the product properly thermally broken?
• Is the product safe?
• Is the warranty realistic and comprehensive?

Manufacture

Following our continual investment in our manufacturing facility, based in Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk, we are now able to offer some of the shortest lead times in the industry.

Our standard range of products are all available in no more than five weeks, with the vast majority of products despatched in as little as three weeks. For a made-to-measure product we are sure that this will impress.

Since the implementation of our CNC manufacturing centre for our upstands, we’re also able to manufacture and dispatch a custom upstand to your site within a five-day working period.

Repeatable quality is achieved by Sunsquare through excellent staff training, staff retention and manufacturing technologies. We have searched far and wide through multiple industries to ensure that our manufacturing methods and equipment are at the cutting edge.

Procurement

At Sunsquare we appreciate that our customers are rightfully cautious when it comes to selecting the products that they purchase for their particular build and we are no different.

Over the past three years we have studied our entire supply chain to look at who supplies us with materials, what quality assurances they are able to offer and what alternatives we have.

This process ensure you, the customer, that each and every supplier to Sunsquare has been visited by one of our Directors, inspecting the facilities where the materials we purchase are made and agreeing to supplier charters. In doing so, we have the best possible assurances that the materials that go in to making your skylight are of the highest quality each and every time.

Support

We try to share the benefits of our industry experience wherever we can. We do so by regularly working with architects, surveyors and specifiers, using bespoke skylights and relevant expertise to bring projects to completion. We also provide RIBA-approved CPD seminars targeted especially at industry professionals, covering specialist advice on every aspect of skylight specification and installation.

Environmental Policy

Sunsquare operates a strict environmental policy both within the product manufacture and office facilities.
All products are designed on the latest 3D software packages allowing us to evaluate a vast array of materials for each component while also limiting wastage. Our new 3D printer also enables us to rigorously test prototypes to encourage our technical team to continually push the boundaries of design.
