The heated rain sensor is positioned in an unprotected area of your roof, preferably where rain would first hit, and automatically trigger the closure of your skylight. You don’t have to worry about water sitting atop your roof window either. The sensor’s heated elements evaporate any surface water from the rain shower or morning dew, allowing you to operate your rooflight soon after a downpour.
