We’re open.. Here at Sunsquare HQ, we will be operating as usual during this lockdown period. We are a British manufacturer and have been able to maintain COVID-19 safe site teams by taking extra precautions, including PPE, temperature checks and fogging vehicles. Lead times will not be affected as our factories are currently in full swing. The safety of our staff and customers is our top priority so we will continue to adhere to all government guidelines.
U-values are touted by companies as a selling point for their products. Until now, all skylight U-values are calculated in exactly the same was as a vertical window, which gives a false reading and misleads the client. Many companies state u-values of 0.6 W/m2K, but they are readings from the centre pane of the glass and do not even include the frame.
