As world-leading flat rooflight designers and manufacturers, at Sunsquare we have always prided ourselves on careful investment in our company and our staff.
Primarily we are a design-led company and it therefore gives us great pleasure that our design department is continually recognised by the pinnacle of their profession.
The head of our design department, Wojciech Kobylecki, has recently been certified as a “professional” by the SolidWorks team; the leading design software we use that’s recognised for its excellence around the globe.
After sitting exams with the SolidWorks team, Wojciech, who has worked his way up the Sunsquare ladder in the last seven years, obtained this elite status amongst draughtsmen as possibly one of the most qualified in the skylight industry, scoring 100% in every element of his three-and-a-half-hour exam.
Justin Seldis, managing director, Sunsquare, said: “It has always been company policy to ensure that all employees have the opportunity to learn and grow with us and Wojciech has been no exception.
“Across all industries, there are only 4,000 professionals with the SolidWorks qualification and at Sunsquare we’re extremely proud to be able to state that our Technical Manager is one of them.”
At Sunsquare we utilise the very latest in design software to model our products and ensure that every bespoke contract that we take on can be designed and viewed in 3D.
Not only that, our new products are designed in a similar way so that we can be sure that our designs work before we commit to factory time and materials; greatly improving efficiencies within our design and manufacture processes.
It is this commitment and continued improvement to our design methods that has given Sunsquare the edge in the UK flat roof skylight industry for so long.
“Our entire business and reputation is reliant on our ability to design effective, stunning products; because a good design makes a good product and a good product makes a good business,” added Seldis.
Our innovation has also enabled the company to become to secure a BSI Kitemark for a rooflight.
