Sunsquare announces membership
with NARM

Sunsquare is delighted to announce it has become a member of the National Association of Rooflight Manufacturers (NARM), the UK’s active trade association representing rooflight suppliers and associated businesses.

NARM’s dedication to the application of best practice in the provision of natural light in built environments marries perfectly with Sunsquare’s commitment to designing and manufacturing safe and supremely stylish flat roof skylights suitable for homes and workplaces across the country.

The organisation meets on a quarterly basis to engender co-operation between its member companies and provide authoritative information on rooflighting specification, design and installation. Membership of NARM is conditional on compliance with the necessary UK Building Regulations and Quality standards, reassuring specifiers, installers and property owners that all NARM members are highly reputable.

As part of Sunsquare’s ambition to drive forward design standards within the UK rooflight industry, the company will be working closely with fellow NARM members in the coming months to reinforce the safety benefits of laminated inner panes on all flat roof skylights.

The reason behind Sunsquare’s drive to reinforce the use of laminated inner panes within all rooflights is two-fold. Firstly, it offers the best possible protection from the sun’s rays i.e. UV natural light and solar heat. Secondly, it provides increased security, making it progressively harder to break through the glass even when it has been broken – extremely important as an overhead glazing solution.

Sunsquare’s external range of flat roof skylights all include a laminated inner pane as standard, offering outstanding protection from interior fading, as well as improved safety and security.
