Sunsquare celebrates 2016
A bumper year of achievements

At Sunsquare, we’re toasting an exceptional year in business. As the first rooflight manufacturer to have all our rooflights Kitemarked by the British Standards Institution (BSI), this, along with a number of business accolades, has made 2016 a year to remember.

We’ve long been recognised as pioneers in the skylight industry, offering high-quality products and services through ongoing investment in design, technology and by improving our processes.

In 2016 we were given the highest regional business accolade of being awarded the EADT Business of the Year award, whilst winning the Medium Business of the Year category.

Mark Lambert, sales director, Sunsquare, said: “To be nominated alongside large and well-known businesses, such as the Co-Op, was an honor. To then go on to win the overall business of the year was the ultimate achievement.

“The award is a testament to the hard work of all those who work at Sunsquare, whose drive and determination to be the very best shines through in every department.

“We are also fortunate to have a large and loyal customer base and long term suppliers who share our ethos.”

To demonstrate this continued innovation, all Sunsquare rooflights now feature a laminated inner safety pane as standard that also acts as a UV filter, providing both domestic and commercial projects with one of the highest specification flat roof skylights on the market.

Also in 2016, Sunsquare became one of the first companies to make the transition to the new ISO 9001:2015 and, additionally, achieved the new environmental ISO 14001:2015 standard by building on our bronze Suffolk Carbon Charter Award.

The business continues to grow, with plans to expand the team in 2017 and continue to enhance the company’s reputation for excellence, both in terms of product quality and customer service.
