The skylight was required to provide as much natural light as possible in the extended open plan living space to the rear of the property. A clever solar solution

The property’s owners were aware that they were wanting to install their SkyView to a predominantly south-facing vista. Fortunately, we were able to provide a simple, hassle-free solution: Solar Control Glazing.

This completely clear glass specification reduces solar heat gain, allowing sunlight to pass through a roof window whilst radiating and reflecting much of the sun’s heat outside.

The result? For this particular project at Boxgrove Road, the homeowners can have a skylight that still allows abundant levels of natural light into their extension, whilst maintaining comfortable and pleasant living environments below.
