Upstands
The easiest and quickest way to install a Horizon Walk-On skylight is to fit it onto a Sunsquare upstand flush to the flat roof. The timber decking or roof-top paving then aligns with the top face of the glass, leaving a sleek, flawless finish. Our Upstands are optional with every product, but we can’t recommend them enough.
U-values as low as 0.94
When combined with a Sunsquare upstand, our Horizon range achieves U-values as low as 0.94 W/m²K. Sunsquare is the only manufacturer to provide structural calculations for our walk-on product range.
Thermally Broken
The real benefit of a thermally broken roof window is that it prevents unwanted heat loss and also guards against condensation from morning dew. Put simply, thermal breaks work to maintain the climatic control of your home without you having even lift a finger!
Laminated Inner Pane
With the introduction of a laminated inner pane as standard on all our rooflights, we’re also leading the way in providing a safer and more secure rooflight with the added benefit of filtering out 99% of the sun’s harmful UV rays.
